Past Life Therapy – How it works

Past life therapy is a modality that searches the subconscious mind to retrieve data stored there and not available to the conscious mind without a past life therapy professional's assistance. Past life therapy does not required hypnoses. In a past life therapy session, the patient is instructed to relax, remove all worldly thoughts, and allow the past life therapy professional guide the patient to the source of the problem. The past life therapy professional will help guide the patient to a subconscious source that will provide answers to the patients current issues.

Having been a past life therapy patient I understand how natural resistance can try to derail the process. A qualified professional will use different past life therapy techniques to move past that blockage. One-way to trick the subconscious mind when the patient says, "I don't see anything" is to reply with, "If you could see something what would it be?" Oddly enough this simple maneuver will bypass the obstacle and eventually find the root of the past life problem.

In all cases, the patient is aware of both levels of consciousness. The patient is in touch with their current body and their actual surroundings as well as fully aware of their past life presence. Pain can be felt in an area in the body where there is no pain in the current body. Most times the environment that the subconscious mind travels to is not easily described because the focus is on a very small subset of that area.

Past life therapy is not fortune telling to discover that the client was once in the court of Cleopatra or was Cleopatra, herself. Past life therapy is a modality with a sincere purpose. The purpose being that to help patients dealing with issues stemming from subconscious pain experienced in past life abuse and/or trauma. The focus is to find what is referred to as "first cause." By dealing with the first cause patients will eventually be able to stop the cycle once and for all.

I feel past life therapy is for the honest searcher of the truth of their current problems. I never tried to verify what was revealed in a past life therapy session, although my past life therapy peers have. One woman told her mother of her experience in the uterus. Her mother was blown away with the clarity in which her daughter revealed the story. This was validation, unnecessary though it was, that past life therapy really works.
